Hi, I'm Bendik — a designer and design leader based in Oslo.
I currently lead the Product & Design team at Convene Hospitality, where we craft intuitive self-service experiences for hotels and transport, making complex journeys feel simple, seamless, and human.
With over 8 years of experience across product strategy, UX design, and cross-functional collaboration, I’ve led the design of self-service platforms used by millions. My approach blends strategic thinking with a deep care for visual quality, user needs, and long-term business value.
I’ve been the design lead on Flytoget’s new ticket machines from pilot stage to full implementation. The project reflects Flytoget’s innovative approach to public transport, and I’m proud to have helped shape an experience that makes travel smoother for thousands of passengers every day.
In addition, I'm also a co-founder of Vilima, where we’re building digital tools to support special needs educators (støttepedagoger) in their day-to-day work.
Alongside product design, I’ve contributed to branding, marketing, and business development, having been part of starting the company back in 2016. I enjoy creating strong design cultures, mentoring others, and connecting user needs with business strategy to build things people actually want to use.
